    Yeah my friends, once again, here I am telling you another one of my adventures on Céline Dion. Those whom follow my website since its begining (specially those whom became my friends) know how hard I work to make my dreams come true. Travelling abroad (from Brazil) to wherever it might be to get a bit closer to Céline Dion, is one of my very favourite things to do when i think about Vacation! And Ooops, i just did it again... then and again, i had a wonderful time travelling abroad, an awesome one on Céline, and I wanna thank God for making my dreams come true from time to time.

    I'll tell you now a bit of what I Did all my vacation long. Are you ready??

    About a year ago, I decided to take an one month vacation, to forget about all sad and bad things I have to go through... and asked myself ... What could I do? I love languages, I Speak about 4 different ones and I LOVE French, I love Céline Dion, I love many other artists from Québec (Like Natasha St Pier, Gregory Charles, 'Lara Fabian', Isabelle Boulay, René Simard and so on), Love cold weather (REAL cold weather - with snow and stuff like that)... so I thought: well, i can go to Montréal, study some French and somehow, get closer to Céline Dion...

    A few months before my whole dream trip begins, Mireille (my dutch friend who went to Vegas with me and Tati last March) and I decided to extend the flight and spend the first weekend in Las Vegas (lol).... and what a begining!!!!

November 9th 2006 - I have just arrived in Vegas, after traveling about 17 hours (includding connection and flight times), I was really tired, my head wasn't even thinking, it was kind of 'heavy' by the way, but i couldn't miss anything in Vegas... I wasn't believing I was back to Vegas 8 months later... Mireille and I went to the Box Office to try to get tickets for that night... OMG! we didn't have tickets for our first night on that journee, ..., I could call it luck, or destiny or whatever, but believe me, we got tickets ... A PAIR of Orch 4's FRONT ROW tickets... it's the closer i could have EVER at the Colosseum... i wasn't still believing i was getting that... lol...

So night came in, and we were just there, like 1 or 2 feet away from Céline.. she was right in front of us!!

We were like 2 kids receiving their toys on Xmas night from Santa... lol... we could see some of the costum changes (announced ages ago by fans whom had already seen it), we saw the same show from March but on this one, we had something special, REEEEAALLLLY SPECIAL... Céline Dion went down from the stage to give the rose to a lady (Mother of a Team Céline winner member) and so what? while embracing the lady she turned her eyes to my face and looked into my eyes, I swear to God I wasn't saying a word, as a magic thing, i could speak to Céline with my eyes, she looked for a couple of seconds and gave me a hug.... YES!! CÉLINE gave me a HUG!!!! I still can't forget that...

Mireille and I bought a bracelet and we promissed ourselves to give it to Céline ONLY if we could do it in person, while Céline was hugging me, Mireille put the bracelet on Céline's hands and so what?? Céline went to Mireille and gave her a hug too... I was almost crying.. OMG, i wasn't believing Céline was doing that and then, she came back to me and we shared kisses, I mean, she wispered 'Je t'aime' on my ears while i kissed her cheek...

I immediatelly went back to 4 years ago when almost about the same thing happened to me in Los Angeles, after the taping of A New Day CBS Special .

Mireille and I were not believing it... I was the whole time telling myself  'the trip is paid lol, i don't need anything else'

November 10th 2006 - Nothing special happened on this day, as far as I can remember.... after over a month, it's almost impossible to remember every detail the way it really was, but the important thing is to have everything in your memory, even if it's kinda mixed up...lol..

Mireille and I were like tired on this night, i had fever, the weather was too dry and all I wanted (besides the concert) was my bed LOL

November 11th 2006 - my Last night in Vegas (Mireille still had another one but I hadn't)... I was just telling to Mireille, OMG, i heard Céline would change the show on that night and suddenly after the show started, I drove all night started earlier than the normal, if I am not mistaken, right after Because you loved me, and suddenly many different things were happening, a new intro for Seduces Me, the UNISON mix saying at Love can Move Mountains and WHAT ELSE?? YES, Céline started River Deep Mountain High exactly on that night... it was just like a gift!!!

Along the days we spent in Vegas we were able to share moments and talk to many incredible people, Angel and Jason (our dear friends from Vegas), MJ and 'Then' our American Friends, Élise Duguay (Céline's backing vocal) - she's the sweetest one I had ever met talking about Céline's crew... because she knows my name lol... We also talked to Mégo and Patrick... we didn't speak for that long but it's being like normal getting recognized by them when we're there.. haha... And Michel, OF COURSE, i could never forget him...

The important thing isn't doing things like that to promote ourselves, but it's every time a new experience, meeting new people (being or not related to Céline may be a matter of luck, or a matter of choice), the important thing is making new friends every day!

Well... as I said, the reason of this trip wasn't Céline, it happened but as I had already been to Vegas this year, it was not the main thing i wanted to do... And i had to fly to Montréal, I still had another 4 weeks to live on my dreams and so I did....

I had been able to visit some other cool Célinish things (and meeting some Céline related people - i mean, people I met because of Céline) like:

- The Célinothèque  - Went there twice, once to meet my friend and another one to visit the place itself... it's one of the best places to find missing items for  your collection

Thank you Nat for being really special to me during my stay!

- Sylvain Beauregard - He's the first Céline fan I ever met in my life. We had some problems along our 8 years long friendship but this is what I can call friendship, doesn't matter what may come over, a real friend will always be a friend, whatever it takes.

Thank you once again my dear friend, for making some of my days special, I hope we can share more on Brazilian Cuisine and try other different Poutine types later on

- Les Dion - YES, I was still in Brazil when a friend told me about the Dion Family show at the Casino de Montréal. I purchased tickets for 2 afternoons and both were amazing. The first one was kind of far away, I had seat # 700 something and was really far away from stage. Their show is really a party... it's like spending Xmas Time with your family, so good it's the feeling of being with them. After the show they seat outside the theather and give autographs. I asked for some pictures lol... when I said I was a Céline fan and i was from Brazil, they started singing a brazilian song and didn't stop talking to me... we were together for like 10-15 minutes. On the second afternoon, i was seating really 'on stage' lol... i mean, pretty closer than the previous night... Claudette Dion saw I was again on the audience and believe me, she went down and performed a song right beside me... SHE'S REALLY SWEET!!!
I had our pictures developed and I gave each one a picture... lol... they were even cooler... Having this concert experience was like having '5 Céline Dions' all together... they ARE REALLY alike her... IT's worth it! If you go to Montréal next year, don't hesitate. Their party is cool not only because they are Céline's brothers and sisters, but also, because it's à La Québecoise (on the Québec way).
