The beginning of a dream

On 29th March I started my journey to Vegas. I arrived there on 30^th March (yeah Celine’s birthday! lol) after many hours of a boring flight.

As my big day was only on Thursday (3^rd April) I had 3 days and a half to visit Vegas (hotels, walking around).

The first thing  I did there was going to Caesar’s Palace to see Celine Dion store, sure! It’s big, near to the Coliseum.

On Monday I had a breakfast with a Celine Dion fan from Us, my friend April. I loved to meet  her. She’s so friendly! – Thank you April!

On Tuesday and Wednesday I walked around with Shalimar – another Celine Dion fan – she was so nice with me. She took me to the mall and bought some pizza. Thank you Shali! J

On Thursday finally Estevam arrived at my hotel at 1:00 pm local time. We went to a hotel called Rio (it’s so ugly lol) because we would like to buy a brazilian flag for the show but we didn’t find any.

After we went to Caesar to pick up my tickets, I couldn’t believe finally my dream would come true!!!

We had lunch and come back to the hotel and start to prepare ourselves to the show. I was very excited!

 The so waited time has come and we went to Caesar’s Palace/ Coliseum wow We met our friend Shalimar and her mother, took some pics together, then me and Estevam tried to sell my extra ticket because I’ve bought 3 (my dad, his wife and me) and a very lucky woman bought them, because there’s many people trying to get tickets and there are only 15 last. And also the seats were very close to the stage, DD 401-403, 4^th row!

Then we entered in the Coliseum, went to our seats and only a few minutes separate me from my dream.

The lights turned off and suddenly I heard that beautiful voice and there she was very far (it’s an effect, very nice) and suddenly she was right in front of me. I couldn’t believe! I was very nervous, shy, I would like to cry like a baby but I couldn’t. Sometimes I got tears in my eyes, however I was so happy that the only thing I could do was smile at her all the time. I think I said to her “I love you so much” through my eyes. Once, I did scream ‘Celine I love you!’ Estevam said: “Brazil loves you!”

When she sings Love can move mountains the dancers asked people from the audience to dance with them. And guess what? One of them asked me to dance! I was so shy but I went, and it was great! He asked my name, etc we dance the whole song. Then I come back to my seat and Estevam asked me: ‘Did you hear what Celine said to you ?’  I said: No! and he told me: She looked at you and said you were dancing pretty well, something like that! I can’t believe you didn’t hear! I said: Oh can’t believe! I saw her very fast behind me, but I didn’t hear anything.

Ok time for I drove all night now lol it was so great!

The show is AMAZING! Everybody must go!

After the show we met Mama Dion on the audience and talked to her. She’s so friendly and simple. A sister of Celine, I guess, was our translator since Mama Dion doesn’t speak English and Estevam and I don’t speak French. Our French is poor. We don’t know the name of this woman, we forgot to ask but she’s very very friendly. We gave to Mama Dion The Family Book, she loved it! She couldn’t believe all the messages were only to Celine. You know, for her,  Celine is her daughter nothing more, I mean nothing about a star.

15 minutes later I saw Mama Dion gambling  and we took a picture with her. So nice!

On Friday Estevam and I walked around the city and at 4:30pm we met our friend Shamilar at a place where Celine arrives to the show. We saw her car but we couldn’t see her. However a very nice gentleman talked to us and asked if we would like an autograph from Celine – what a question! – lol of course we said YES! – We waited for about 1h and a half but it was good because we talked to many securities. They’re very nice with us. They protect Celine very well. J

So we got our autographs with our names in it, I couldn’t believe she wrote my name! lol

I had to buy a tennis shoes duet to the cold. We stopped to ask a guy where there’s a tennis store and he saw us taking all the free magazines with Celine on the cover and I said: I have an extra ticket for tonight! I looked at Estevam and said: I’ll buy! I couldn’t believe I was going to see her again!

My seat was a bit far from the stage but it was good because I could see the show, not Celine! LoL I saw many things I didn’t on my first show.

I saw René near to me and at the end of the show I asked him an autograph which I regretted right away. Not because he’s not friendly, but I was so shy and I don’t like to disturb people like that. I didn’t feel good at myself and I thank him in French saying ‘merci!’ – and then he was gone.

I met Estevam outside of the Coliseum and it was when he told me he could see the show, too! We bought my tennis shoes and came back to the hotel.

Saturday 5^th April was our last day in Vegas. I didn’t want to come back home so soon! My heart was broken but we had to go … so that’s it. On Sunday I was at home.
