I went to the June 19th, 2003 show on a Thursday. When I go there, there were long lines coming from all the doors and I waited with my nerves running high and excitement all around me.
I took pics of me and friends with the Céline poster at the entrance. We got inside and they had Chrysler cars on show and some Céline merchandise inside. I go to my seat still on a high of excitement. I sat down and I talked to the couple seated next to me. They were real nice. So while we were waiting a camera would go onto different members of the audience and people would wave and make funny faces and when it came to me I waved and got excited and showed everyone my purse, it had Céline's name on it, I was glad it made it my way.
I was very anxious for the show to start; I was jumping in my seat for it to start. Then finally it got dark and silent and then you hear her voice, it was so loud and crisp, I could have died. Out she came singing "Nature boy", which got my eyes watery. After she finished I screamed and clapped as loud as I could. A couple of songs later she sung "Because You Loved Me," yet again another song that brought tears to my eye, it'ss the song that started it all. There was just so much to look at while she was singing it was amazing and stimulating. Now "Seduces me" was the song where I wanted to be in that chair she was in and now can we say hot!!! Again her voice rocked so well. On the song "Have You Ever Been In Love" I started to cry, it was so touching, I wanted to see pics of her, René, and RC coz that is what I was thinking.
After every song I screamed and yelled and clapped. When she started to sing "I Surrender," my favorite song from that album I was like yes, I love this song and she gave it her all and belted her way through it with style. With the song "The First Time Ever I saw Your Face" she flew in the air and I loved the dress she wore, I want one just like it. She brought up the atmosphere with the song "I Wish," where she showed off her dancing skills, which I love to see. I loved the outfit with the suspenders. Céline got us dancing with "Love Can Move Mountains, "which was good coz I so wanted to get on my feet and clap and dance, like at a concert. When she did "I Drove All Night" the dancers came down to the audience and two of the dancers danced with my mom. It was interesting to see that and I love that idea of them getting involved with us. Then Céline sung the classic song, "My Heart Will Go On" this one too made me cry and I know it was almost over and I did not want to leave.
I liked how they had her face on the screen and fire was around it. The last song was about to come and the crowd was screaming, "one more, one more." She came out singing "What A Wonderful World" and the crowd cheered with excitement and trill, but still wanting her to sing one more after that song. When she ended the crowd screamed and cheered and clapped for a good bit. I just adored the show, I am going to try and save up for next year if I can go because that show was exhilarating and phenomenal and the store was and is a dream come true.
