September 24th 2002 - Franco Dragone, who is creating Céline's spectacular show in Las Vegas, will receive the insignia of knighthood from the National Order of Quebec on Wednesday, September 25. This honour will be awarded to him by the Quebec Minister of Culture and Communications, Diane Lemieux, in his home country of Belgium where he is currently overseeing the show's rehearsals. Franco Dragone has spent many years working in Quebec with the Cirque du Soleil.

I didn´t know neither Céline nor any other western pop singer were forbidden in Iran.  Although Céline is one of the most popular singers over that country, it didn´t help. Gholam-Haydar Ebrahimbai-Salami, a newspaper´s publisher, published a picture of Céline among 13 other ones who was mainly their conservative bodies. Weird isn´t? The publisher is being sued because of that.

I have to confess that at the first sight i was against René´s opinion, because most of the times, these parodies are funny and it´s not to put any singer´s career down, but to make some fun. September 7th 2002 - Hi everybody! Silvio Berlusconi, italian Premier, is going to record an album for Unicef. The album will be produced by Tony Renis and it will include some very known french songs ("Les feuilles mortes" by Kosma-Prevert and "La vie en rose"), but also some south american songs ("Besame mucho" and "Solamente una vez").

The Premier will duet with artists like Andrea Bocelli and Michael Bolton (who already accepted the proposal). They are waiting an answer from Whitney Houston and.... Céline Dion!

3)israeli fans can vote for celine's "a new day has come"video on the "musicbox" channel by calling the number 067676711(cel phone).it is the only way for voting !more votes-more times the video will be shown!!! Let's hope that the interactive  channel soon ads the "i'm alive" video as well. Céline gets many votes but still let's peak her as more and high as possible. The song number by the way is 623. 

4)on the tower records sales we can see that celine takes the 23rd position with the "a new day has come" album. 24th is pink's mizunderstood and 25th is eminem.
The rest are mostly israeli artists. Once again celine does it in israel!by the way at "nmc-music"site-the music company that deals with sony music and imports celine's cds to israel we can read that Céline and shakira are best sellers in Israel (as foreign pop artists). The company  offers purchasing the new album through their site for a lower price!

My life should be right back to normal in one week (then i´ll have plenty of time to answer all the emails i´ve received over these past troubling days). According to Queen Celine, A new day has come has hold on to the top spot of Billboard's AC chart for another week, making it the longest running #1 on the chart (20 consecutive weeks), beating its own record comparing to Because you loved me, which has been there for 19 weeks by the same position.

Céline hasn´t got permition to use her own name in the brand! Guess why? Because the fashion store "Céline" didn´t give permition. I´m Still waiting for an answer from them. Can you guys believe they want to lawsuit me just to take away the www.celine.com.br domain from me???
I´m really mad. This domain and all the others are part of my collection and i´ll be really sad if they come to take it away from me :((

JULY 28th 2002 -  Good Morning everyone! This is, until now, such cold weekend when talking about news ahn? Well, a Brazilian fan has sent me an interesting info on the What more can i give single. We know that it might not be released but, according to an interview given to a Brazilian Talk Show (De frente com Gabi), Brito, a Brazilian Artist, is the man who did the cover art for the single. According to him, he had already worked with Mariah Carey (selling pictures to her house) and also, decorated the International Airport in Sao Paulo (my hometown). Well... it´s just to let you know ;)

Both formats will feature Garou and Céline singing their duet "Sous le vent," while the DVD also includes a special performance by Céline, Garou and Gérald de Palmas of "Tomber"/"Ten Days." The concert was recorded at Le Palais des Sports de Bercy, in France on March 20 and 21, 2002. Céline was a surprise guest on March 20.

JULY 20TH 2002 - 10:45pm - Hello! Just to fix my translation mistake. Joe Bermudez made a remix for "I'm Alive", not "I Surrender".  According to S'il Suffisait D'aimer, Joe met Celine few weeks ago at the KISS FM concert, and he proposed to her for making a remix for the song "I surrender".  But later they asked him to do a remix for "I'm Alive" instead, and he did.  Celine listened to it and liked it.

JUly 3rd 2002 - Good Morning everyone! Here´s a link from yahoo! where which they talk about record sales. They say that record sales are going down for everyartist and that even with all this turbulence, Céline still takes the 3rd position. Isn´t that cool?

- On Global Céline we can learn that in some european countries, VH1 doesn´t want to show the I´m Alive video because they say it promotes the Stuart Little 2 movie. I think it´s quite weird coz every video clip promotes something, specially the artist. And why only with i´m alive? 
Sony Music in The Netherlands gave this comment: This is no problem for The Netherlands. There already are two versions of the musicvideo and therefore the clip will be played at Dutch television. Cool ahn?

- As promised, more info about the DVD-single 'A New Day Has Come'! Today Laura received her copy and guess what: She can play this DVD at her DVD-player, a Dutch one. So I guess the DVD-single can be played at the European DVD-players too! She bought her copy of the DVD-single at www.fnac.fr (a French site). As you will see at this site, the description says that it is an import-DVD from the USA. It says that it's 'Zone 1' (this is the zone for USA/Canada), but it also says 'PAL' and not 'NTSC'. Anyway, if you have a DVD-player and want to see the DVD-single, it is worth to try it!

Longtime band leader Claude Lemay  "Mégo" and musicians André Coutu, Yves Frulla, Marc Langis, Dominique Messier and Paul Picard will be sharing the stage once again with Céline starting March 2003 in Las Vegas. They kept themselves busy during Céline's hiatus, playing as the house band on Marc Labrèque's popular Québec talk show "Le grand blond avec un show sournois," among other projects.
