December 21st 2009 - During Céline's Taking Chances Tour, Productions J has filmed many moments... sometimes on stage, sometimes... under the stage. Not only that but also very special moments like her short journée in South Africa and so much more. All that, as well as testimonies from people all over the 25 different countries the tour has taken its place will be part of a special called Céline through the eyes of the world, which was supposed to be just another DVD extra (Just like the one from the Las Vegas DVD) and now is going to be released on Cinema Screens all over North America. I was holding to put this info here because I wanted to discover more details about it but since I am getting so many messages from fans all over the world asking why I was hidding this once all community is talking about it... here it is: Céline through the Eyes of the world will be on screens 8 different times starting on February 17th. For the moment I don't know yet how ticket sales will work out and hope I can learn something really soon because like you all feel... I am anxious to watch it! :)

December 17th 2009 - Today is Celine and René's 15th wedding anniversary! They got married in 1994 at the Notre-Dame Basilica in Montreal, Québec. Congratulations to the happy couple for this wonderful milestone and let's wish them many more happy years together!

November 12th 2009 - Hi Everyone! I am taking a two weeks vacation in Brazil to spend some time with my family. During my way to the airport, yesterday morning, I have learned that Céline is no longer pregnant. I got shocked and sad but just like René said on an interview, this the pure reality to all couples facing the same problem: getting a child by in vitro technology. It may work out, it may not. I am sad for Céline because I do know how much that means to her and would like in a few words to give her some strength.

October 22nd 2009 - It's no longer a secret that after going deep on discovering everything on Céline, I have also fallen in Love with Québec (the French side of Canada). Within such amazing discover I have been able to listen to many other local artists such as Natasha St-Pier, Isabelle Boulay, Annie Villeneuve and Marie-Chantal Toupin. Toupin is releasing next week her first Christmas Album called 'Noel c'est l'amour' (Xmas is love). Among the so wonderful songs she has recorded, the album brings 'La Voix Du bon Dieu' (One of Céline's first recorded songs and by the way, her dad Adhemar's very favourite one). September 16th 2009 - Celine is featured in a new television commercial for the popular Quebec restaurant franchise, St-Hubert. Every year, a celebrity tapes a light-hearted commercial for the restaurant and donates his appearance fee to the charity of his choice. Celine chose to donate her fee to the Quebec Cystic Fibrosis Association (in French only). This new commercial, which premiered on September 14, can now be seen on major television networks in Quebec - be sure to keep an eye out for it!

August 21st 2009 - Celine's appearance on a landmark episode of 'Touched By An Angel' will be included on a special DVD release later this year! This DVD called 'Inspiration Collection - Hope' will feature four classic episodes including'Psalm: 151,' which features Celine acting in a cameo role.

July 25th 2009 - Along with Céline, René and Julie... during the 4th golf tournament organized by Maman Dion Foundation, Céline's Mother was all smiling and indeed proud of the job she was doing with her collaborators this week. Her foundation exists since 10 years now and every year, it goes over her expectations. During the event, $ 775 000 have been collected, an amount which goes way over the $ 600 000 she was intending to make.

It's a family initiative, and most of her kids is working on it.

June 26th 2009 - Passed away yesterday a very important icon of music world: Michael Jackson. I am here doing my best to write such a note, I personnally cannot believe this thing happened. Somehow, I am sure Michael was into everybody's heart surely because he was on everybody's life. He is The Elvis, The Frank Sinatra, The Beatles someone who will last forever in History. May God Bless the King of Pop! Céline gave a short phone interview on Larry King last night to talk about how she was shocked and mentioned that they have performed together, and also, that he went to her show in Vegas (where they talked for about an hour backstage). Céline was a fan of Michael.

June 25th 2009 - 5pm (NYT) - This morning I haven't noticed when I saw the news from Canoe.ca that they had an issue talking about Céline's hormonal treatment, which may let her to have the so awaited second baby. She had to postpone it from March to July because she's got infected by virus in the intestin while she was on vacations on the Indian Sea. The infection is not serious and it's just a matter of time to have it duly cured.

- Here's an info that erases all rumours about Céline's shows in Las Vegas. Many blogs out there are saying she would get start again in September but according to René Angélil, there are for sure projects for Vegas, but neither for that month, nor earlier. For the moment they are taking a profit of every second they have to be spent together, in family.

June 23rd 2009 - The 6th edition of the Walk for Life in Repentigny (Quebec, Canada) has been given a very important touch on its history. The walk, which happened last Friday (June 19th) raised over 305 000$. This money will be given directly to Cancer Researches. The Dion Family was into the walk. Céline's Father, Adhémar, died of the disease years ago and would have been turning 64 years together with her mother, « Maman » Dion (Thérèse Tanguay).

June 19th 2009 - As part of the celebrations for the 175th anniversary of Quebec's annual "Fête Nationale," Quebecers are invited to vote for their ten favourite songs from a selection of 175 songs. June 17th 2009 - Hi! First of all, my apologies for not coming here so oftenly as before. Luckly I have no problems at all going on with my life, the only thing is lack of time (working too hard and also got a few weeks off to visit my family in Brazil). As Céline is also on vacations, there's not too many things going on with her career at this moment. I also look every single day for something new just like you all may be doing. Well, finally I am leaving you with some news on her:

- Yahoo! Music Chart Watch Extra reports that Celine is among the Top 20 Album Sellers of the 2000s!. According to Neilsen/Soundscan sales numbers, Celine has sold a total of 17,579,000 albums since the first week of January 2000, making her only the second solo female artist featured on this chart. Congratulations Celine!

- The Foundation for the Hôpital Pierre-LeGardeur in Quebec recently announced that one of their palliative care units will be named after Adhémar Dion. The name 'Maison Adhémar Dion' was chosen to honour the memory of the Celine's late father.

May 18th 2009 - Celine recently recorded a new duet called "L'eau" with fellow Quebecois artist Jean Lapointe. The song is available on Lapointe's new album titled 'L'eau - onze nouvelles chansons' (in French only). Did you know that this isn't their first collaboration? Celine's song "L'amour existe encore" was included on a special compilation album released in 2007 to benefit 'La Maison Jean Lapointe' (in French only), a charity devoted to helping people battling drug, gambling, and alcohol addictions.

February 5th 2009 - Still doing my best to figure out the name of this German Newspaper but, the important is that I have found it here in Luxembourg. I have taken the time to scan it for you. Céline was on it two days ago

January 4th 2009 - The Governor of Canada, Michaëlle Jean announced last wednesday 60 new nominations for the l'Ordre du Canada. Many celebrities are making part of this list where our Céline Dion, will  be the Compagnon (partner) de l'Ordre du Canada.

The elected members will be invited to receive their great in a Ceremony which's date is about to be confirmed by the Office of General Government.

4 Partners, 14 officiers and 42 membres had been chosen to receive the Canada's Order.

Besides Céline, the tenor Ben Heppner; the dancer Louise Lecavalier; the Theather Actress Elsa Bolam and  Douglas Cole, the owner of a club which promoted the jazz, are also making part of such important prize.
