June 23rd 2005 - Good Morning! BRYAN ADAMS and CELINE DION have been confirmed as the star attractions at the Canadian LIVE 8 concert on 2 July (05) - but organizers have scotched rumours the ROLLING STONES will also appear. An estimated 35,000 tickets will be made available for the charity fundraiser which will take place in Barrie, Ontario - 92 kilometers (57 miles) north of the Canadian capital.

June 22nd 2005 - Hi! Céline attended a sportsgame last Monday! Her backup singers performed the national anthem before the match and according to Review Journal she stayed for the whole game and was sitting behind the home plate.

- At a website about Paris, where they promote their wish to be the city to organise the Olympics in 2012, you can listen to the song 'A Paris'. Céline recorded this song as a gift to the city of Paris, it's also a way for her to support this city in their wish. June 19th 2005 - Céline will be on TV tonight in Québec! "Une soirée avec Celine Dion" ("An evening with Celine Dion"), will air on ARTV. Fans will be able to watch her first TV appearance which originally aired on June 19, 1981, as well as her 10-year-career-celebration concert in Montreal which took place June 19, 1991, and her concert at Stade de France in Paris on June, 19, 1999 in front of an audience of 90,000. June 17th 2005 - Hello People! The polish superstar Edyta Górniak told last week in a polish TV show that she will cover a Céline song for her new album. It will be a french album. The first single called "Lunatique" is already out and is nr.1 in Poland. She told that it´s like a wish come true for her, because Céline is her very big idol and she will sing her song "cherche encore". The song means a lot to Edyta. It gives her strength, she said. The album will be out this fall.

June 6th 2005 - I was checking my e-mail box and trying to answer them as usual, and found out this curiosity regarding our Diva:

Dominique, our French Translator, was watching the tv show "Tous Cousins" on France 2 last month, on which an artist is invited. The team of the tv show was looking for her/his ancestors and looking for if there is a famous person amongst her/his family. One of the guests was the Quebecer singer, Isabelle Boulay... And guess what !!!!????  Isabelle and Céline are cousins!!!

In 1810, Claude Létourneau and Geneviève Lévesque had several children. By some of them and their descent, we have Mrs Létourneau who is Isabelle's mother and, by others the descent includes Céline. So our great ladies are cousins. We saw Céline who had recorded some words. She is very, very happy to know Isabelle is one of her cousines. And she hopes to meet her soon, perhaps in... Paris... (as the tv show was recorded in Paris, for a French channel that Céline knows very well).
