- My friend Marc, from Céline Las Vegas website, received this Chrysler promo CD today. It plays “I Drove All Night” when inserted into a regular CD player and when inserted into a computer you can watch all Céline's Chrysler commercials! It opens up like a BIG (!) digipack to show a beautiful picture disc! A nice collectors item if I say so... I´ve also won a bid on that item but since I live in Brazil it should take some longer. :)

- To celebrate the upcoming 35th anniversary of PBS's Sesame Street, the show's producers--the Children's Television Workshop--have announced plans to release a boxed set of songs from famous musicians' visits to the landmark children's show. Songs From The Street will feature performances by James Taylor, Sheryl Crow, Tony Bennett, Billy Joel, Trisha Yearwood, and Celine Dion, to name a few... The three-disc set will contain more than 60 songs in total, pulled from the show's archives. Many of the tracks have never before been released. As far as I know the only song Céline recorded for Sezame Street is Happy to meet you, which can be found on the following cd (from those whom don´t know)... But let´s wait. (Even if it´s a compilation only, it will be good for passionate collectors like me... :-)

- According to this link, Chrysler is done with the ads on Céline. They are saying that Céline didn´t help on increasing their sales. Well, personally, I would say: Not even Céline would make such magic. While I was in Canada,  I´ve heard tons and tons of bad speeches on their cars. What really made me feel impressed about it was a friend of my cousin who is an engineer and works for the brand, once talking about it, "I don´t like their cars that much but, It´s good for free" ... Coming from somebody who works within it... Can you realize that Céline wouldn´t save anything?

Therefore, a host of famous friends and fans recently joined together to star in a video for his latest single "Dance with my father", the title track of his new album.   July 20th 2003 - Good Morning Everyone!! Here we are again :)

- Two television specials featuring Céline received Emmy nominations earlier this week. 'Céline in Las Vegas : Opening Night Live' which aired on CBS is nominated in the Choreography category. Mia Michaels is the choreogrpaher for A New Day...
The television special 'The Concert for World Children's Day' is also nominated for an Emmy Award in the Music and Lyrics category for the song "Aren't They All Our Children" performed by Céline and several other artists. The song was written by David Foster and Linda Thompson. The Emmy Awards will be handed out on September 21 and will be broadcast on the Fox Network

D'ailleurs, pour cet album de CD, il n'a écrit que quatre titres La flemme méridionale pointerait? "J'ai beaucoup d'affection pour elle.C'est par respect et honnêteté que je n'ai pas écrit plus. Pour mon égo ou mes finances, je n'ai pas besoin de signer un album entieret je ne me sentais pas capable d'en faire davantage. Je suis content de ces quatre chansons parce je crois sincèrement que ce sont des bonnes idées et qui changent des 24 chansons que je lui ai déjà écrites."
It says more or less that starting from June 25th, he will start with the postproduction of Célines 3rd French album (the third one he works on) scheduled for October. He is very happy with the result and spends his time in studio only in the evening. (...) For this album, he only wrote four songs, because for him, it’s a kind of respect vis-à-vis de Céline. He didn’t want to sign a whole album because he didn’t felt himself capable of doing it without repeating himself. He surely means that those 4 new songs are completely different from the other 24 he already wrote for her...
